Reports, Workflows, and Agents
Turn document intelligence into repeatable automation and structured outputs.
After documents are in Vault, the next step is usually analysis or automation.
Reports
Use reports when you need a structured, repeatable output from Vault documents. Create or generate the report, then retrieve the result when the run reaches a terminal state.
Workflows
Use workflows when a process needs to run repeatedly. Workflows can start manually, on a schedule, from document events, from email, or from intake forms. Actions can upload to Vault, wait for processing, apply playbooks, run agents, call APIs, create records, request approvals, send emails, publish to Legislate, and more.
Agents
Agents are configurable AI workers. They can be run directly, from Workbench, or as workflow actions. Prefer explicit inputs and operation IDs when connecting agents to the API.
Records and exports
Use records when document evidence should become structured business data. Use exports when another system needs a file or structured output derived from TextMine data.
